Gaming Expo Coming to Sydney Next Week
Next week, gaming industry professionals from around the world will descend upon Sydney’s International Convention Centre (ICC) for the Australasian Gaming Expo. The event is sure to be an exciting one, as the organisers have “spared no effort” in ensuring the success of the expo.
Over 150 gaming companies will be exhibiting at the event from 15 to 17 August. They will be representing a huge range of sectors within the gambling market, including building services, food, drink, furniture, security, POS systems, information technology, management services, retail services and more. It really is a one-stop shop for any gaming industry professional.
The event is expected to draw in visitors from around the world. Already, the organisers are confident that this will be one of the biggest gaming expos in their history, as the number of confirmed exhibitors is up by 30% while the number of registered visitors is up by 20% from this time last year.
This is the first time that the event will be held at the ICC, which has only recently opened. Along with the launch of the convention centre, the city also revealed the revitalised Darling Harbour precinct which features a new amphitheatre and an extra 3000sqm of space in Tumbalong Park.
“It’s a pleasure and a challenge to be back at Darling Harbour – a pleasure because ICC Sydney is a great venue, and a challenge because we’re building many more stands than ever before.”
There is still time to register for the event, and gaming industry professionals get free entry. Attendees are also offered the chance to win a trip to Las Vegas. Three individuals will be chosen to win to the prize, and a different winner will be chosen every day. You’re automatically entered into the draw when you show up, so it’s a great opportunity to win a fantastic prize and check out the latest gaming innovations.
