The Munchies Introduction
The opening screen has a tick - click on it and you see a grid made out of chocolate, and a plate. Move the plate to any location on the grid. When you click the plate, the whole screen fills with yummy snacks - marshmallow cookies, pizza, sandwiches, doughnuts, multi-coloured chews and bags of sweets.
The play area rests gently on fluffy pink clouds of marshmallow and billowing scoops of white ice cream, with cheerfully coloured sweeties sticking out of it. Whether you’re playing this Genesis title on desktop, mobile or tablet, you’re surely getting peckish by now? The Munchies are always looking for their next snack. So if one of them lands on your plate, that long Munchie tongue will reach out and devour every snack on either side of it.
Any Munchies that are identical will do the same. Obviously, they won’t eat the Scatter, or the Wild. Or other Munchies - that wouldn’t be tasteful.
Mouthwatering wilds and scrumptious scatters
The scatter is the bag of Munchies and three bags or more pay double your total bet and also deliver free spins. A bag of sweeties is the wild, which can substitute for any snack symbol except the Munchies bag. Even the Munchies know better than to eat the Wild sweeties - it would be greedy. Three wilds give you 25 credit points, four give you 200 and five give you a full 1000!
Some Munchies are worth more!
The Munchie with the pink lips gives you 20 if three show up, 100 for four, and 250 for five. Green lips Munchie gives you 200 for five of him, but only 15 for three. Blue lips Munchie will give you 15 for three of him, and 150 for five of him. Finally, purple Munchie brings 120 for five shows but just 10 for three. So pouty pink lips are the ones to look for!
The sandwich and the pizza are high earners
The sandwich and the pizza both get 100 for five shows, and 10 for three. Next up are the candy wheel and the doughnut, paying 75 credits for five shows but just 5 for three. Lastly, it’s the marshmallow cookie and the cupcake - 5 shows for these gets you 50, but three shows are a measly 5.
The Munchies feature
When a Munchie lands on the plate, he and his identical Munchies devour all the snacks. But to make up for it, random credits - up to 10 times your wager - appear in the free spaces. The snacks above the spaces in the line will now cascade down onto the line. If the Munchie is still on the plate, it just carries on eating and you just carry on winning! Or the cascaded snacks may deliver a winning combo. Munch on!
