Full Tilt Poker is one of the most popular online poker websites in the gaming world, and its owners are looking to expand its reach even further. This week, the company announced that Full Tilt Poker players will soon be able to access online casino games, such as roulette and blackjack. The owners of the online poker room have been considering launching online casino games since 2013.
Now, the plan has finally been set in motion. This is the first time that Rational Group, Full Tilt’s parent company, has ever expanded outside of the scope of poker. So, it will be interesting to see how players take to the new offering.
“These new games on Full Tilt will provide more gaming options with the same high quality player experience, integrity, security, safety and support that players have come to expect from our brands,” reads an official statement from Rational Group. At the moment, there are four variations of Blackjack to choose from: micro limit blackjack, Atlantic City blackjack, European blackjack and double deck blackjack.
Both roulette and blackjack are available as single player and multiplayer games. The new titles can be accessed from the Standard View of the gaming lobby. PokerStars will remain a poker-only website, which will continue to benefit Rational Group. Since Full Tilt Poker has returned the online gaming world, the site has struggled to compete with 888, Party Poker and other competitors.
So, venturing into the online casino market will give the company the chance to bring in greater activity and more diverse players. Sources claim that the new online casino games mark the first step in the rebranding process for Full Tilt Poker. However, this has yet to be confirmed. As the story develops, we will keep you posted.
