Nova 7s Introduction
The space theme will never get dull, and as we have seen with the popularity of such pokies as Starburst and Astrodice, it's by no means a theme stuck in the 70s. Nova 7s from RTG has a slightly new theme and focuses on solar explosions, and you as the player can just sit back to get explosive wins. The reels are placed on a barren asteroid or moon with nothing but deep space beyond.
The symbols, however, are various coloured planets with a ringed red planet as the highest scorer. The developers have used the traditionally lucky number seven as an additional theme for the game, with a Red 7 for the Wild Symbol substituting all but the Blue 7 Scatter.
Making a Wager
This is a five-reel, 25-payline game. Players first decide whether they want to wager on one or up to all 25 paylines. They then make a Bet Value which will be multiplied by your payline number and then simply spin to win. Get ready for a most explosive game play!
Solar Explosions
The Red 7 Wild isn't just a wild. In fact, it's fairly volatile, and when it appears you may see it Flare, Nova, Hypernova or Supernova depending on which reel it appears, expanding to give you bigger wins. A Solar Flare, for example, will expand upwards on its own reel. A Nova, on the other hand, only happens on reel three, but when it does it expands over the whole reel and multiplies wins by x7.
A Hyper Nova only happens after a Solar Flare but actually expands to an adjacent reel!
Scatter Symbol
The Blue 7 Scatter multiplies your win by up to x77 (five scatters on a payline) but also triggers the Free Games Feature when three or more appear. At this point, one of four free games will trigger when you click one of the scatters. You may get the Nova 7 Feature, Supernova 7 Feature, Hypernova 7 Feature or, if you're really lucky, the Hypernova Extreme Feature!
Overall Review of Nova's 7
The emphasis on this game is much more directed to the expanding solar flare Wilds than it is on the Scatters and subsequent Free Games Feature. This is because it's the Wilds where your winnings are most likely to multiply. To say this game is explosive is an understatement. With solar flares and supernovas occurring all over your screens, it's actually hard to keep up with your winnings at points!
This game is aimed at those who like an action-packed, thrilling and adventurous pokies game - it's certainly not for the faint-hearted.
