Trick or Treat Introduction
Knock knock Who is at the door of this haunted house? Is anyone hiding behind the spooky trees on either side of the reels? There is no need to fear, as Trick or Treat definitely focuses on the lighter side of Halloween with symbols that represent the childish fun of 31 October. There are five reels, three rows and anywhere between one and 30 paylines in Trick or Treat, and you will find cute Halloween symbols all over the reels.
The lower value symbols are some rotten eggs that are thrown at the houses of the less generous, a lollipop, a bag of sweets, some plastic fangs and fake blood, and a toy trident and devil horns. There is also a werewolf mask and a witch’s hat and broom.
The higher value symbols are three trick or treating kids - one is dressed like a zombie, one is a goofy looking ghost and the last child, called Jason, is wearing a hockey mask and a Freddie Krueger jumper. Jason is the highest scoring symbol in Trick or Treat. If you can land five of him on a payline, you will be rewarded with 6,000 x your total bet.
The wild symbol is a carved pumpkin and can substitute for any other symbol except the scatter symbol to make up winning combinations. The scatter symbol is a young girl dressed as Red Riding Hood. If you can land three or more of her anywhere on the reels, you will activate the free spins feature. Three scatter symbols will win you 10 free spins, while four will net you 15 and five means you will be rewarded with 20 free spins.
During the free spins round, all the bets and lines are played out at the stakes you were using when you triggered the bonus feature and all the winnings are doubled. You can retrigger the free spins bonus feature as often as you like.
Trick or Treat allows very flexible betting. You can play with anywhere between one and 30 paylines, can adjust how many coins you bet per line and how much these coins are worth. The coin value can be set anywhere between $0.01 and $0.25 and you can stake any number of coins per line from one to five.
Trick or Treat also has the popular gamble feature, allowing you to increase your winnings by guessing the colour or suit of a playing card hidden behind a spooky door. If you can correctly guess the colour of the card, you will double your winnings, while a correctly predicted suit will quadruple your stake.
