Last month, we reported that actor Ben Affleck was kicked out of a casino for having an ‘unfair advantage’ over the house and other players. Now, it seems the same thing has happened yet again, as the film star was reportedly booted out of a casino in Windsor, Ontario after only playing for 20 minutes. According to reports, Ben Affleck was visiting the Caesar Hotel and Casino in Windsor and had decided to play cards.
Within a 20 minutes, security was alerted to his presence at the venue and he was escorted out. “He sat down and played for roughly 20 minutes before security heard he was there,” says one witness. “They made the dealers stop what they were doing and asked him to leave. Ben seemed pretty mad”. It seems that casino staff caught wind of his recent incident at the Hard Rock Café Casino in Las Vegas.
Just last month, he was escorted out of the casino because he was caught counting cards. While it is not particularly considered cheating, casino owners frown upon it. They claim that it gives the player an unfair advantage over the house, so it is not uncommon for a player to be kicked out for counting cards.
The story is now going through the rumour mill, and it has sparked concerns that Ben’s wife Jennifer Garner has threatened to leave him over his gambling habits. It is most likely that these rumours are unfounded and tabloids are just looking for a scoop.
It has never been reported that Ben Affleck has a gambling problem – only that he was using a tactic that casino managers are not particularly fond of.
