Casinos are venues that are susceptible to crime, and Crown Casinos wants to keep its venues clean. That’s why the company has decided to enact a ban on bikers’ colours at its Melbourne location, preventing gang fights from erupting. While the new rule aims to keep players safe, members of bike gangs are upset at the development, resulting in several confrontations thus far.

The decision to ban bikers’ colours from was inspired by a string of violent events that have occurred recently. Fights between rival gangs have erupted across the country, as members can identify each other based on the clothing they wear. The new ban aims to prevent such altercations from taking place.

There is currently no legislation banning bikers from wearing their colours at gaming venues; however, security has been strict about enforcing the rule. Those who are discovered to be wearing their colours on the casino floor will be required to leave and change their clothing before returning. While bikers are not at all pleased with the development, Crown Casinos is not the only venue that has enacted such a ban.

Smaller clubs and pubs have banned gang members from wearing their colours inside the venues, as well. So, a legislation enforcing the ban may not be far off.
