The new bar and lounge will open on November 7, and its opening gala is expected to see an A-list guest list.

The new nightclub is owned and operated by Elizabeth Hurley, her fiancé Shane Warne and professional poker player Joe Hachem. With this much star power behind Club 23, it is expected to bring in a wide range of well-to-do patrons. The opening is actually scheduled for the weekend of the Melbourne Cup.

During this time, many celebrities will be in town for the event and it seems that Club 23’s owners are hoping they will attend the opening event. Many celebrities are rumoured to be on the guest list, including golfer Tiger Woods. This will be the second time this year that Australian casinos see a great deal of celebrity attention.

This summer, Russell Crowe and Leonardo DiCaprio attended the opening of Star City, and DiCaprio is rumoured to be living in casino’s suites while shooting his latest moving in Australia.
