Over the course of the past few years, Echo Entertainment has seen a great deal of activity with the launch of many redevelopment projects and the upcoming construction of its new Brisbane property. To keep things consistent, the company has announced that it will rebrand several of its properties. The Star Casino, Jupiters Casino and Echo Entertainment’s new Brisbane property will be branded under the same identity.
The three properties will be named as follows: The Star Sydney, The Star Gold Coast and The Star Brisbane. When Echo Entertainment rebrands, the company will take another big step. An investment program will be launched that will ensure the Treasury Casino Jupiters Casino will feature the same luxurious look and feel as The Star Sydney.
“It in no way detracts from the wonderful performances of Treasury Casino & Hotel in Brisbane or the iconic Jupiters Hotel & Casino on the Gold Coast,” says Matt Bekier, chief executive of Echo Entertainment.
“The transformation at Jupiters and work on Queen’s Wharf need to be well advanced to ensure that when the properties do rebrand they meet the world-class standards the company wants The Star Entertainment Group to represent”. Echo Entertainment has announced the name change this week, but it may not take effect until later this year.
In November, the company’s annual general meeting will take place and shareholders will vote on the rebranding. This is a very exciting time for Echo Entertainment, as the company has recently secured a deal to develop a casino resort in Brisbane. Echo Entertainment will move the Treasury Casino to Queen’s Wharf, where it will become a world-class luxury gambling venue and a major tourist attraction.
We look forward to seeing the new image that Echo Entertainment will realise once its properties are rebranded as ‘The Star’.
