Genius Sports has announced an extension of its deal with PointsBet. As a part of this deal, PointsBet has gained access to Genius’ official sports data, in-play and pre-game content, and other fan engagement solutions. The CEOs of both companies are excited about the continuous collaboration and successful future.
The previous contract between the sports data and technology provider, Genius Sports, and the online sports betting and gaming operator, PointsBet, noted only streaming and content deals. However, the new contract will see PointsBet gain access to Genius Sports’ complete range of official sportsbook data, content, and fan engagement solutions for the NFL, NASCAR, and EPL.
Only two months ago, in August, the NFL named PointsBet its official sportsbook operator. With this latest deal, the company will use Genius’ official sports betting data feed, Next Gen Stats (NGS) data, and NFL play-by-play statistics.
Genius is special, as it offers official data that helps sportsbooks enhance long-term player acquisition by enabling unique in-game and pre-game betting options.
With the new deal, PointsBet will also get the chance to do the same for both international (including AU) and US sports, such as the NFL, NASCAR, NCAA, English Premier League, Argentine, and Colombian soccer.
Mark Locke, who acts as Genius’ CEO, has shared his excitement about the new contract deal between the two companies. He has added that the expansion confirms that official sports data has tremendous value and the ability to revolutionise sports betting experiences. Locke added that Genius is thrilled about this expansion with PointsBet, as it provides the company with the most accurate and fastest data in the sports world.
This Monday, PointsBet has announced a similar partnership with Hard Rock Digital. Their collaboration includes PointsBet providing Hard Rock with official sports data and sportsbook solutions. Not long before, PointsBet expanded its partnerships with BetMGM and Entain, as well.
PointsBet’s CEO, Johnny Aitken, has said the company’s goal is to provide the fastest and most comprehensive betting experience for all sports fans worldwide. He has added that this partnership expansion will definitely boost PointsBet’s capabilities.
The company put down its roots in a well-shaped market in Australia but quickly grew worldwide, spreading to the United States as well. Currently, PointsBet operates in seven regulated US states.
PointsBet does not utilise third parties for its core functions but relies on its technology end to end. What’s more, aside from in-play and pre-game betting options, the company is proud to offer unmatched ease of access and speed to every customer.
