This week, Echo Entertainment will begin the redevelopment of Jupiters Casino. The makeover will cost $345 million, and it will completely transform the property and ‘change the face’ of the Gold Coast, According to the Gold Coast Bulletin, Jupiters Casino will feature a 17-storey tower, to be built by Probuild – one of the largest developers in Australia.
Throughout the construction process, 500 new jobs will be created for locals, Geoff Hogg, Head of Echo Entertainment Queensland is confident that the new tower will feature some of the most luxurious accommodation in the country, rivalling The Star and Crown Resorts new high-roller casino resort in Sydney. The goal of the property is to attract wealthy tourists and gamblers from around the world.
“The six-star hotel is the signature piece of the transformation of Jupiters which will redefine luxury and take personalised service to a completely new level,” he says “It is the centrepiece of what will be the most exciting part of the development.” Guests will be given a world-class experience, from the time they arrive at the airport.
A private butler will meet visitors at the airport, who will take care of all their needs as they travel to Jupiters Casino. Suites will have between one and four bedrooms, and all rooms will have their own balcony. There will also be specialised suites that cater to very specific customer needs, such as karaoke parlours, home offices and in-room theatres.
“We are looking forward to creating a unique development which will feature an amazing exterior and suites unlike anything seen before in Australia,” says Peter Ward, Managing Director of Probuild. The casino resort will feature plenty of high-class bars and restaurants – all of which will deliver room service to guest suites. There will be a rooftop infinity pool and new VIP gaming suites for high roller players to enjoy.
