This week, gamed poker machine provider Konami will be launching a new selection of poker machines at the ICE Totally Gaming Conference. The company will be premiering several new games that introduce new technology to various markets around the world. One of the new products is the Podium Monument cabinet, which builds on the successful elements of the original Podium cabinet.
This model features an HD 32” top box and a 22” touch screen. Games on the cabinet will feature four-level progressive jackpots. Another new innovation is the Rapid Revolver cabinet, which merges new and old technology. This premium cabinet is unlike any other online poker machine, as it features six vertically-mounted mechanical drums that interact with the video reels.
It certainly brings something new and exciting to the land-based gaming market. “Both machines demonstrate our continued commitment to robust game content combined with novel entertainment experiences that empower casino operators to get more from their floor,” says Matt Reback, VP of Marketing at Konami.
“Konami has earned a reputation for reliability and performance, allowing our customers to recognise more value from our products at each and every gaming position.” At the event, ICE attendees will also be able to get a sneak peek of Konami’s Synkros casino management system. A hands-on demonstration of this technology will be on display, so patrons can see for themselves how Synkros benefits both players and casino operators.
We are certainly excited to see what Konami has to bring to the land-based gambling market in 2015. Pokie clubs will certainly benefit from offering players new and exciting cabinets like the Rapid Revolver and Podium Monument. There is plenty of potential for these new products to start new trends in the international pokie market.
