Net Entertainment is becoming well-known in the online gambling as a provider of high-quality online pokies with fantastic graphics and great winning potential. Until recently, the company’s games were only available in the online casino world – but now, land-based players will have the chance to give Net Entertainment’s games a spin.
This week, Net Entertainment has signed a deal with William Hill, which will see its online pokies made into land-based games that are available at high-street betting shops. There are over 2300 William Hill bookmakers across the UK, and Net Entertainment games will be placed into many of them.
"Net Entertainment is one of Europe’s largest suppliers of online casino games and we are very excited to have been given the trust, and confidence to extend our delivery commitment to William Hill now also covering the retail part of their business,” says Bjorn Krantz, Managing Director of Net Entertainment.
"The deal will allow Net Entertainment to maximize its distribution reach through William Hill’s major channels which includes retail, online and mobile.” In recent history, we have seen the opposite occur when it comes to gaming transitions. Poker machine developers like IGT, WMS and Aristocrat all started out in the land-based market before making the shift to online gaming.
This allowed them to reach even more players around the world. Net Entertainment’s foray into the land-based market will provide the company with even more exposure, as there are still many punters who prefer to play at land-based venues. We could also see Net Entertainment expand into other land-based markets, which would be especially beneficial in countries were online gambling has not been regulated yet.
There are plenty of exciting possibilities on the horizon for Net Entertainment, and we can’t wait to see what’s next.
