WMS has launched a new poker machine based on The Flintstones. The pokie operator has started rolling the games out this week at the Borgata Hotel and Casino in New Jersey.
“Keeping our slot floor fresh and exciting for our players is extremely important to Borgata, and we are thrilled to be the first casino to offer The Flintstones game from WMS,” says Ted Herzchel, Borgata VP of Slot Operations.
WMS’s new Flintstones poker machines does a great job of merging classic mechanical gaming with modern digital gaming. There is a mechanical wheel at the top of the screen which physically spins when the Wheel Bonus is triggered. During this bonus, players can earn generous cash prizes.
There are also plenty of on-screen bonuses available. During the Bam Bam Bonus, he jumps across the reels and slams wild symbols into place. In the Dino Bonus, he leaps onto Fred and the player earns credits every time he licks his owner’s face. There is also the generous Yabba Dabba Do feature, in which the reels expand from a 5 x 4 format into a 5 x 6 format to increase the player’s winning potential – and, sticky wilds are added to the reels to further increase the player’s chances of hitting a generous prize.
WMS has also equipped the game with a number of off-screen features. This includes the Pebbles Bonus, in which the player votes on which baby is cuter: Pebbles or Bam Bam. Then, the reels spin and the player’s prize is based on whether the chosen baby’s symbols appear more frequently than the other baby. Finally, there is the bowling bonus. The player picks a ball and a bowler, and their prize is based on the number of strikes they earn.
