WMS has now entered into a deal with Dragonfish Bingo, providing its popular pokies to a wide range of popular online bingo websites. The two companies will benefit greatly from the deal, as WMS gains more exposure in the online world and Dragonfish obtains a wider selection of games for its players to enjoy.
"This expanded relationship significantly grows the global audience for our great gaming content, while also increasing the Williams Interactive presence in the iGaming real-money market,” says Orrin J. Edidin, CEO of WMS.
“With its broad and established offerings, 888 is one of the pioneers and innovative operators in the online gaming industry, and we are excited about the opportunities our relationship presents to grow our mutual businesses." 888’s Dragonfish brand offers a unique online gaming experience that allows players to join a community.
In their bingo games offered by Dragonfish, players can communicate with one another and play a wide range of side games that offer up generous cash prizes. WMS will add to that selection of side games with such popular titles as the Wizard of Oz, Kronos and Super Jackpot Party. Only a few games will be introduced at first, before dozens are rolled out over the course of the next year or so.
WMS games are still quite rare in the online casino world, as only a few websites are licensed to offer them. The company is ubiquitous in the land-based market, and now WMS aims to expand its presence in the online gambling market. This deal is an expansion of the current B2B agreement that is held by Dragonfish and WMS.
Since WMS is primarily a land-based poker machine operator, the company will help to transition Dragonfish and 888 into that market. As part of the deal, WMS will introduce Dragonfish-powered poker machines to American land-based casinos, offering free-to-play games.
