Birds Introduction
Birds is a Betsoft game with five reels and three rows. Instead of spinning into place, these birds fly in and arrange themselves. The aim is to line up three or more winning combinations of birds either horizontally or vertically. When you do this, the birds that are winners will fly off, the ones that are left will drop down, and more birds will fly in to form fresh combinations.
This continues until there are no more winning combinations. Most of the tools you need are arranged along the bottom of the screen. There is a handy Options button at the top left that takes you to a range of settings for the game. If you want to see how much different birds are worth or learn more about the features of the game, click on View Pays at the top right of the screen.
Double your wins
After a successful match, the Double Up gamble feature is activated. Click on Double Up to see a panel where there is a gold coin. You get to choose whether you want to gamble all your winnings or just half, and then you can select heads or tails. The coin will spin, and you will soon know whether you have won or lost. If you win, you can choose again.
Flights of fancy
On the left side of the screen, you will see the Free Flights Tweet'o'Meter. Each time there is a winning combination of birds in a round, the Free Flights meter will fill up a little more. If you get to four wins in a round, some free bonus spins are activated. This really demonstrates some of the wonderful graphics in this game as a large egg moves across the screen, a vibrant bird hatches, all the birds move to a city setting, and the bonus spins begin.
Four winning flights mean eight free spins, five winning flights mean 12 free spins, and six winning flights translate into 20 free spins. More free spins can be triggered while you are playing the bonus rounds. If you are lucky enough to rack up seven or more wins, you get 14 bonus spins plus the number of wins.
