Carry on Camping Introduction
In the past, the most popular online games had fantasy themes or Asian themes, but after the release of The Hoff (a game based on celebrity David Hasslehoff), a selection of celebrity and TV games have been released. The good thing about TV and movie-themed games is that they will appeal to players who loved the TV show, and it also makes it easier for game developers to come up with new and (semi) original themes.
Carry On Camping by Core Gaming is certainly designed to fit in with the original movie, so the reels are placed on a camping ground with a few small yellow tents resting in the background. The reels themselves are hoisted onto wooden sticks, and the overall effect is very… British.
The reels are surrounded by a selection of characters you will recognise from the original game, although they look slightly different due to their caricature style. At the bottom of the screen, you will see a control panel, and even this has been customised to fit in with the theme of the game. The theme isn’t particularly slick or modern, but the style is consistent, enjoyable and light-hearted - much like the original Carry On film!
How to play
This game has 20 fixed paylines and five reels, and you can find buttons below and around the sides of the reels. The first thing that you need to do is set your bet amount, which you can do using the control panel below the reel. Your bet can range between 0.20 and 500 per spin, so there is a lot of variation, and if you want to be a high roller, this is definitely the game for you!
You can either spin the reels yourself or use the autoplay feature to spin the reels automatically. Carry On Camping has a medium volatility level that makes the game very enjoyable, and the mini scenes from the movie definitely add an extra layer of fun to the game.
Bonus Features
There are a few symbols to look out for in this game, including a camping tent symbol that represents the game’s wild card. This symbol can be used to replace all of the other basic symbols on the reels, and it can pay out up to 25 times your bet. The wilds also have the ability to randomly expand, which is quite interesting! There are also four bonus features that can be triggered in the game.
